| About five years ago, I began quilting. I was inspired by quilt shows on television, beautiful books and local shops with lots of classes and displays. I began to modify patterns and design my own projects almost immediately, but was frustrated by the lack of tools available to assist in the design process. I created the Quilt Design and Archive Folder to help me get organized...and I'm sure it will help you too!! The Quilt Design and Archive Folder is a standard sized office folder printed with grids and tables to organize quilt project design information. The folder format allows convenient storage of reference material such as clippings, instructions, templates etc. The Quilt Design and Archive Folder is printed on acid free cardstock with archival ink to provide a permanant record of your project. It is printed in the USA. The front of the folders contain a section for biographical information, a section for fabric swatches and two grids for block design and design data. The center of the folder contains a grid covering two pages to allow you to do project layout. The back of the folder has tables for cutting information for pieces, sashing and borders, yardage information, quilting information and your thoughts on the project.
