I'm really excited to be
a member of the 2008
Spring Show faculty!
I'll be teaching a full
day class and doing
two different
demonstration/lectures
while I'm there.  I'll be
posting more
information soon,
including a complete
description of the
classes and lectures,
supply lists, and more
pictures.  Here are
pictures of the projects
we'll be making in the
full day class. Hope to
see you in Chicago!!!
A Bag!
A Belt!
A Band!
A Bag, A Belt
and A Band!
These handbags are
all part of a demo that
I will be participating in
called "Bag Lady"
Several teachers will
be demoing
techniques.  I'll be
showing my rectangle
bag that is so simple to
make and so fun to
use!

The demo includes
handouts and is
detailed enough for
you to be able to go
home and start
sewing!  A variety of
materials are used in
the samples...all of
them a little bit
extraordinary.  This
demo takes place
Saturday April 18.
Contact me closer to
April for exact times
and locations.  I bet I
have some new ideas
by then for the demo!!
Whether you in vision a
work of art for the wall or a
utilitarian rug for the floor,
his technique works great
for both.  The rugs can be
embellished with loose rags
and tassels on the ends just
 for fun.
Scrap Basket Rugs Demonstration
The Rectangle Bag
demonstration during
"Bag Ladies"!!!
I will have handouts
available
at the demonstration.
Here's another
version of a belt
, a bag and a
band using Amy
Butler fabrics.
I made this set
for my daughter's
19th birthday.
This is one of
the looks you
can create at
the class at the
International Quilt
Festival in Chicago
next spring!
This demo will take place
on Saturday April 12.
Contact me closer to April
for exact times and
locations.  Hope you can
make the demo.  I'll have
free handouts as well as
books to purchase if you're
interested in using up you
scrap basket!
